CNN is now reporting on the grass fires that us Okies have come to regard as "a big statewide barbeque!" No, it's a bad thing, we're in a serious drought, and it got as high as 94 degrees here in Tulsa today. Still, the fact that the grassfires made the national news is surprising.
FYI I'm in the middle of the city. Not too many grassfires around here, though I have smelled them a bit while driving.
Yeah, we need some rain. Soon.
