Republicans who once marched in lock step behind their president on national security are increasingly willing to challenge him in an area considered his political strength.
Now if only the Democrats would get more visible on these issues and paint the Republican Party as an antagonistic, ideological mess. Then we might have a shot. The good news is that recent polls have put the Dems ahead on security for the first time ever.
