Oklahoma moving toward smoke free?
An Oklahoma Senate panel has approved a bill that will ban smoking in all restaurants and bars, including cigar bars. I'm of two minds about this kind of legislation. On the one hand, I believe that smokers should have the right to smoke in public provided some accomodation is made to prevent non-smokers from inhaling secondhand smoke. On the other hand, allowing public smoking under those conditions is pretty impossible to implement, especially for waitstaff and bartenders who have no choice but to breathe in the toxic fumes. I think I approve of this legislation. It'll certainly make it more enjoyable to go out to Karaoke on a Saturday night. *Whoaaoaooaoa...*cough cough* sweet child of *cough* miine!!!!*
