Open Debate Coalition

The Open Debate Coalition is a grassroots, bipartisan effort to open up the debate process to more public participation and dismantle the party-controlled Commission on Presidential Debates. I think this is an important effort, and I'm happy to sign on to it. Opening the debates will not only help give people a better and more complete idea of what the two major candidates have to say, it might even allow other political parties to get a foot in the door. Anything we can do to break the two-party monopoly in this country is a good thing.
